About the position

The Systems Architect is a member of the Information Technology Department and reports to the Head of Information Technology. This role works closely with the Head of Information Technology, the IT Manager, MLC School stakeholders and vendors to support efficient, effective and stable application processes that meet the requirements of the end users and business needs of the school.

This role is responsible for organising, directing, training and supporting all stakeholders of the school application services, maintaining a high user adoption and efficient process enhancements in alignment with the IT Strategic Plan.

The role will require a good understanding of core MLC School value chain applications extending to Student Managements system, Learning Management System, Financial, HR and Microsoft Azure and 365.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:

  • Assessing and providing solutions or practices determining the impact of costs, risks and the benefits of the IT infrastructure.
  • Developing and delivering logical architectures and design solutions.
  • Ensuring design solutions align with policies and the strategic plan.
  • Providing leadership in designing and delivering engineered solutions including user training programs.
  • Providing architectural guidance on solutions development and system integration.
  • Ensuring all key stakeholders’ concerns are being met.
